Chewy choc slice

This is a favourite in our house. Very easy, one bowl slice. Perfect if you need to make something in a hurry.

1 cup SR flour ( sifted)

1/2 cup coconut

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tbspns cocoa powder

125 g butter ( melted)

400 g tin condensed milk

150 grams milk choc bits

150 grams white choc bits

1.Mix all the ingredients together. It is a really thick mixture.

2. Spread into buttered tin.

3.Bake in moderate oven for about 25 minutes. ( it will be hard on the top and soft in the middle)

4. Cool completely in tin.

Fiona, can we ask for requests? Like the layered chocolate cake you made one day and brought in to school! I still think about that yummy cake 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • hello Kate! Will make that cake just for you next weekend….might have to drop it into work though as have just made a Mamma’s cake that I will post tomorrow…and none of us should be eating cake for some time! ( thanks so much for posting!)

  2. Your work colleagues would like to put in a special request for a taste of this chewy choc slice! Friday next week would be fantastic. Many thanks!
